«Discover Russia 2017» the brightest
event-exhibition and show organized for foreigners living and working in Moscow
on 18 June 2017. Mission of the event was to draw the attention of
international community to some positive and favorable aspects and facts about
Russia, to let all foreigners - guests of the event get acquainted with Russian
culture, national traditions, interesting facts, life style, regional and
ethnic diversity, useful services, goods and offers essential to feel more
comfortable in Moscow and Russia.
«Discover Russia 2017» exhibition and show was
organized in amazing Petroff Palace, outstanding and brilliant example
of Russian architecture, located near the center of Moscow.
It was built at the end of the 18th century by famous
Russian neoclassical designer and architect Matvey Kazakov upon the
order of Catherine the Great the longest-ruling female leader
and monarch of Russia. Petroff Palace used to be a residence for Russian
nobles and important well known persons to have rest and leisure after
long journey from Saint Petersburg to Moscow. Since 19th century
Petroff Palace became a place where all Russian Emperors stayed before
their official ceremony of coronation and accession to the throne.
During the Patriotic War of 1812 the Palace
became a residence of French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte and later came
back to Russian Sovereigns and nobles, to offer new regal receptions
and celebrations of different important dates.
Discover Russia 2017 was organized by Diplomat Service
Group LLC - the first company in Russia in charge of
providing foreign businessmen, companies and representations with full set
of legitimate service support, business mediation and exclusive VIP entertain
ment. D-S mission is to help foreigners understand better Russian culture, way of life, help them with their tasks and needs.

whose vast experience, gained over many years of living and working

General partner of the event became the International
Women’s Club of Moscow (IWC). The International Women’s Club Moscow (IWC) is
the largest women’s club in Moscow since 1978 year with over 400 permanent
members from around the world. Membership consists predominantly of diplomats’
spouses, women who have joined their partners in Moscow on business assignments
and female business professionals in their own right.
The purpose of the Club is to promote friendship and
to further cultural activities among women of all nationalities residing in
Moscow.
International Women’s Club of Moscow (IWC) has over 35
years of experience and results with dozens of successful offline events for
foreigners and Russians in Moscow, including such famous events like Diplomatic
Ball or annual Winter Baazar with over 3000 visitors.
Throughout the day guests enjoyed different shows
and interactive areas including special children’s zone, charity tombola,
carnival photo shooting, Russian art and culture special exhibition, traditional
Russian music and dance shows, Russian regions culture and life style
exhibition, national cuisine offers, important services presentation and gifts
from partners of the event.
At the end of a day a special concert was organized to
let all guests enjoy truly Russian Ballet, Opera and traditional dance shows.
After the concert in accordance with best noble IWC traditions there was a
charity auction to raise funds to be donated to charitable activities in
Moscow, Russia.
